Where is NextraLogic based?
- We are a software company based in Kathmandu, Nepal. All of our engineering work is delivered from there.
Do you work with clients outside Nepal?
- Yes. We work both with organizations inside Nepal and with companies building offshore, as a remote engineering partner.
What services do you offer?
- Four connected practices: enterprise software development, digital transformation, technology and innovation consulting, and software quality assurance and testing. They are delivered by one integrated team rather than handed between separate departments.
What technologies do you work with?
- Our disciplines span web, mobile, cloud, data, UI/UX design, and AI. We choose an architecture and stack you can realistically staff and maintain, rather than defaulting to whatever is newest.
What is the time difference?
- Kathmandu runs on Nepal Standard Time, UTC+5:45. A working afternoon in Kathmandu is the morning in the UK and Europe, and a Kathmandu morning is the afternoon in Australia. The overlap with North America falls at the very start of the US business day.
How does an engagement start?
- It starts with a conversation about the problem, not a specification. From there we scope the work and move through the same delivery loop on every project: build, ship, scale — align the problem and the system, move validated decisions into production, then grow capability from there.
Can you work as an extension of our existing team?
- Yes. Engagements can run as a complete build that we own end to end, or as a dedicated team working alongside your own engineers.
What languages do you work in?
- We work in English and Nepali. This website is published in both.
How much does offshore software development cost?
- More than the hourly rate suggests. Rates vary by region and seniority, and the full cost also includes the transition period, management time on your side, attrition, and tools and licenses.
